DRIFT is an immersive scenography. The audience can move freely in it and become part of the wave-like landscape.

Drawn in by sounds and language, one sinks into a world far too dark and mysterious to be grasped.

At the center of this decentralized work that plays with intimacy, anonymity and opacity is a nameless narrator who invites you on a tour de force through themes of sexuality, wandering, being lost and pain.
How much risk can a life, a body endure? How much are non-normative relationships marked by shame, repression and invisibility?

Why does intimacy so often, so quickly, turn to violence? Can words touch us, and if so, how? Can a space become a text and tell the story?

DRIFT is a highly sensitive site that negotiates absence as experience -

a body of sound full of stories that tell of belonging and dispossession, isolation and community, pain and pleasure, gardens and ruins.

An invitation to drift through space.
